Are you looking for an exciting, entertaining speaker for a special event? Contact Edna Thayer for a talk about her new book, Feisty Lydia, Memoirs of a German War Bride. The book tells of Lydia’s struggles through a premature birth, the Great Depression, war in her home town and country, meeting an American soldier and traveling to America with her young son Johnny to start life with her husband in a foreign country.

Edna is an experienced speaker, having given over 800 talks in nine different states and Canada since l990. She speaks to groups of any size and captures their attention. She is a former Associate Professor of Mankato State University and holds master’s degrees in both nursing and counseling.
